This is a commission for 
for her main character Martin's birthday!
Here he is having a *gentle* tug of war with his longbaby Benno.
I actually had to go back and recolor a bit of this. I opened it up weeks after I had finished and saw that Martin was kind of ... green. I don't remember using that color at all, and I was left wondering what the heck I was thinking! He didn't deserve that! Had to be fixed. So I guess that's some artistic advice from me to you. If you finish something ahead of time, check it again before you post it and embarrass yourself or inadvertently insult a really sweet and awesome character who deserves better!
So Happy Birthday, Martin! May it be the first of many more to come!

Haven't I always said you take good care of my boys? Ever since the first picture, I knew Martin was in good hands and I would never have to worry. I can almost hear the little growls that Benno is making! And the worried expression Martin has, knowing he's going to have to face Matt Vitae with a holy aviator cap is priceless!
Anyone who has one, knows that dachshund property law dictates that once an item is in a dachshund's jaws, it's theirs. I love how mindful Martin is of keeping his stance in regards to Benno's shape (again, something you were very concious about!) But Benno is going to give him the fight of his life!
As I said before,it's cool to see what the rest of the costume looks like! I had no idea their was a back to it! I don't know why....
It always makes me deliriously happy when I see my boys ( I had this under the desk at work looking at it on my phone). Since Martin was the first to be created, and the one I spend most of the time with, he's got a special place in my heart. And you know that and it always shows in anything you do for me.
It might be his birthday, but I treasure this as a gift. Thank you so, so much!
