Description
Some characters are hard to draw. This one moreso than most. Many would argue that he does not wish to be drawn, hence my difficulty. I'm not so sure about that. Nonetheless, it did take me a *long* time to get this where I want it, even if you don't include the attempts over the years that have not been saved or thrown away later.
I will leave it to my fellow fans of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell to decide which John this is. It is a beautified version of one or a mundane version of the other? Your call. I'm happy either way because I loved them both.

Well I am certain that I wished you a happy birthday. But once again this is so disgustingly late. He seems to have cooperated for you! I like how he's framed by the ivy. I'm not familiar with the character, but I do like his strong features.
