Reg's Siblings

In keeping with my promise to show more of Reg's new life, I would be remiss to leave out his twin siblings.

They were born on January 1st the year Pazour was demolished. They escaped through the rift with Travis and Maria.

Originally named August and and Andre, they are now August and Andrea. As Andre, he was never comfortable with himself, never sure of who he was, and noticeably unhappy. Now as Andrea, biologically and mentally female (a weekend journey in the Mechanid Kingdoms these days), she finally feels whole and comfortable.  At first, August had a hard time getting used to the change. Andre was his identical twin, and when the change was made, a new set of genetic markers emerged. Given a day or two, and seeing how happy and whole his new sister had become, any awkwardness was washed away. Maria now has the daughter she always wanted. 

Like their little brother (younger by five years), they are both remarkably talented. (I don't know what else we should have expected from Travis and Maria's offspring).

August Isola can teleport through fire or stone, can be neither burned nor hurt in any way by the element of earth, and can combine those two elements and, basically, throw molten rock and metal around with his mind (port-a-volcano). He works for The Empire as a member of the SORTIE Forensics Unit, quickly rising through the ranks. It's not unheard-of for him to be called outside the Empire to consult on other mysterious cases. He's wearing his SORTIE-issue coat.

Andrea Isola can teleport through water or air (that one can get a little complicated), can't be harmed by either air or water, and can control the weather on a local scale. She is a Trade Minister registered to balance, appraise, and exchange goods from one empire or kingdom to another. She is one of a handful of people of her rank in this job in known inhabited space, the only human, and the only one under 300 years old. Her special coat was given to her by the seshellie when she set their trade standards to they could trade more easily off-world.

Reg didn't get any of his siblings great powers of elemental control. He is just as smart as either of them, and is the only one with his father's dazzling charisma. He's as musical as he ever was, but now has a *much* larger stage. He runs an entertainment empire that covers music, movies, television, newsfeeds, and public events.  he has stretched his notoriety farther than anyone in his family. After his detainment on Yaton, he did get himself a new pair of legs that let him fall and land on his feet from any height (within reason), a super high jump, and a faster running and walking speed. He's fairly sure he's the pretty sibling as well.

So that's it. The picture was inspired by 's enthusiasm over Travis and Maria procreating. There was a tiny story to go with it.
*Five-year-old Reg wanders into his father's study, dragging a music-print blankie.*
Reg: Dad?
Travis: Yes Heart-of-my-Heart?
Reg: Ryan is adopted, and August and Andre are twins, right?
Travis: *is pretty sure he knows where this is going* That's right.
Reg: So that means you and Mom only did it twice, right?
Travis: That is exactly what it means.
Reg: Oh thank goodness!
Travis: I know, right?
(Ryan is another subject for another time. He's a few thousand years older than the other three and is usually considered a bit separate.)
