How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

First of all, I'd like to thank my friend

for this lovely picture of my Hilde:

She's *adorable*! Must be some good music!

I've been out for a bit. But I've been busy. With a job. Finally. It's that same one I talked about last time. It's still going well. I'm doing some more art for the same client now. I could get used to working for this guy. This is his main site if anyone is interested [link].

Can't say much about what I'm working on in specific, but that's pretty par for the course.

The even better news is that the money is going toward a new computer that I so desperately need! Bought the tower today. It's a first step, and a welcome one at that. (This can and will be called a work expense because I do art on it. So there.)

I've been doing all this art from a five-year-old laptop with a tiny screen that tends to run red, which screws with anything I color. I didn't notice how bad it was until just recently. And so, I apologize for all the eye-blistering red in the past. I really had no idea. (That Karthis is really a kick in the corneas!)

Last thing is that I'll be cleaning out some old art. Out of date character portraits, commissions unclaimed by the character's owner, stuff that isn't relevant to what I'm doing now, stuff that was tragically unpopular. That kind of thing. Just have to clean house every so often.

Anyway, I think that's about it.

CONGRATS! seriously though I am so glad you are getting a much needed cash injection and that the work is fruitful and rewarding. Im sorry to see some of the older art go to be honest, I really am a fan of all your work so to see it dispersal is somewhat sad. But I do understand the desire to keep things tidy.
