Description

Please give this a fullview. There is a lot of detail in it.

This is part of the Isola Concert.

Back on Pazour, Travis Isola was a Founder (one of the"Immortal Rulers"). He loved to listen to Soul Forge Accolon Chase play the violin. Travis swore that, had Accolon not been the destined to a life of making soul blades, he would have been a musician.

Travis begged Accolon to play in public for the better part of 300 years. Accolon always refused and said his music was just for fun and he never intended to play seriously. Travis always went home disappointed.

Pazour is gone and it's been a long time since Accolon and Travis were even on the same planet. But for Travis' birthday this year, Accolon was convinced to perform on a stage for the first time.

Painted up to look like a metal statue (but not covering the tattoos because ... why?) he played four songs with Ghi-Sun providing accompaniment. He also danced while he played. Pazourian men dance. It's a cultural thing. It's only silly to men who don't until they see how women respond to it.

Travis said that to finally see him on stage was the best gift he could have received.

I like this one. I've always wanted to draw Accolon with his violin. He doesn't let me draw him much, so I always leap at the chance.

And before you say anything ... I know the violin is small. That's not an oversight. Accolon is 6'10". I did the math. Nonetheless, it is a custom instrument made just for this concert.

Aside from the stylized color ... this is the most accurate picture of him I've ever done.

(Do you like how I'm making an effort to include feet?)

I liked many things about this. Your palette choices and use of lighting are particularly wonderful here, in general and in how you've used it to really complement the violin and the body art. I also very much liked Accolon's face, feet and the fastenings on his cummerbund, though all for different reasons.
